You have to take thirty hours of drivers ed training. When you are fifteen and have completed the test, you are aloud to go take your permit test. If you get eight or less wrong on the test you go to get the paperwork you need and get your picture taken. They have to make your permit card, so they send you that in the mail in about a week or two. They give you papers to carry (that is your permit,) until your card arrives. You are then aloud to drive with a parent. When you go to take the test you must have the certain requirements that they tell you to bring in driver’s ed. (it may be different depending what state you live in.)
